Communion

Posted on Oct 6th, 2007 by Church of : The Porch Church of

Zoom In

Communion may take place anytime, but Formal Communion takes place on Friday evenings. Communion must take place after 5PM local time. Communion takes place when a quorom has been reached, but requires at least two full church members. Communion requires nothing less than 100% agave.

In larger gatherings, the Communion Corps will coordinte the cutting of limes, pouring of agave, distrubtion of salt, and gathering of congregants.

Any congregants who cannot or should not consume agave can join with any drink of choice (including holy water).

Toast are varied, but should never directly reference any member of the group. Common toast on the Porch include:

    • Here's to the collective (w)hole
    • Itadakimasu

The Baldwin Brothers Secret Summer Recipe

Posted on Oct 6th, 2007 by Church of : The Porch Church of

In order to provide a refreshment to complement Communion our resident alchemists created The Baldwin Brothers Secret Summer Recipe.  Giving you all of the ingredients would spoil the secret, but we do know that extracts of the agave plant are used.  The recipe is mixed in pitchers and served with liberal amounts of La Croix Orange making it not only delicious, but life sustaining (water will keep you alive).

The recipe is best served in a Tervis Tumbler with crushed ice and is best consumed through a straw.

Mame likes hers made "light" with very little recipe and plenty of La Croix, while Preston believes that waving a can of La Croix in the vicinty of his cocktail is plenty.
